Spiritual Q&A |
1. Does everyone have a Guardian Angel?
Because God loves each and everyone of us he gave us all Guardian
and Specialty Angels to help us in our daily lives. Guardian Angels are
like the musical conductors in an orchestra. They make sure all the other
Angels (or instruments) are harmonizing together. The Specialty Angels are
there to provide assistance in specific areas, such as love, compassion,
patience and faith.
2. How can I get to know my Angels?
Perhaps the best way to think of it is just like meeting an old friend for
the first time. You can introduce yourself, sharing all the details of
your life, as if you were catching up with a friend in the store. Then
wait for a response. The response may come in the form of a thought, a
feeling, or an idea. The most important thing to remember is trust what
you receive and continue to build on it. Know that you can talk to your
Angels about everything, they see and hear and know it all.
3. Do I have more than one Angel around me?
We all have more than one Angel around us. We always have the support,
love and protection of our Guardian Angels, but that is not the only
assistance available to us. The current situation in your life will have a
direct reflection on what angels are being brought in to help you. There
are Angels whose sole responsibility is to deliver patience, love, peace,
light, protection and color to a situation. Your Guardian Angel's job is
to provide you with support, knowledge and guidance from the spiritual
realm. Angels, do have the ability and often ask for help
from others.
4. I have been to some of Teresa's lectures, during which she refers to
her "Spiritual TAG Team©." Could you explain what this exactly
is?
The "Spiritual TAG Team©" is Teresa's idiom for Teachers,
Angels and Guides. Designed by God and you, it is your full
spiritual support system, always present and working on your behalf.
Teachers and Guides are Spirits who have lived on this earth and have
experienced an earthly life. There is also a very strong chance that they
have lived with you in a past life, but have decided to stay in Spirit to
assist you and learn with you in this lifetime. A Teacher's responsibility
is to assist you from a spiritual perspective with your life lessons. A
Guide is present to assist you in dealing with your emotions. Since Angels
have never lived an earthly life, Teachers and Guides are there to assist
you with earthly matters. Angels are the master orchestrators overseeing
all your spiritual needs. It is important to note that since they have
never lived on Earth, Angels are the ones who understand how Spirit, God
and the Universe work.
5. What happens when a loved one passes over?
For various reasons this is a difficult question to answer. Each
individual's passing is different, just as each individual's life is
different. One's spiritual belief structure, as well as the type of
passing are just two of many important factors. When one is getting ready
to pass over there are Angels of rescue who arrive with your friend and/or
family to greet you and walk you home to the white light. The white light
is a beautiful radiant beam of unconditional love. Once you've been
welcomed into the white light there is a period of adjustment and healing
which all new souls go through. This time in Spirit is similar to being a
newborn baby. The soul will learn to love in Spirit without your temple or
body.
6. Is it beneficial for me to meditate?
Teresa likes to think of meditation as a wonderful opportunity for you to
develop a relationship with God and the Angels. While the majority
of people pray, most do not wait for assistance or answers. Meditation not
only allows God and the Angels time to be with you, but it
also provides therapeutic benefits to your body. Studies have shown
that through visualization and meditation, certain cancers and other
diseases may be eliminated from the body. Meditation also causes the mind
and body to slow down, creating a detoxifying effect on the mind.
7. How do I meditate?
The biggest misconception about meditation is that you must first clear
your mind until it is completely blank. Trying to accomplish this task
actually creates more anxiety and stress and expends a lot of energy
because this is such an abnormal state for the mind to be in. When
teaching, Teresa first instructs her students to relax in a comfortable
chair, with some quiet and soothing music playing. Next it is time to
concentrate on breathing. One should take some deep breathes, breathing in
through the nose and then slowly out through the mouth. Then one should
concentrate on dropping the shoulders and relaxing, allowing the mind to
drift. If there are thoughts, feelings or questions entering the mind, do
not focus on them, replace all of these thoughts with one word,
"relax." It will take practice, but with time it will become
easier to reach this meditative state. * In future months Teresa will
address achieving successful meditative states in the Angel Prayer and
Meditation section of this site.
