In the last two weeks my house has been spiritually quiet until last Wednesday. I was awakened at 3 A.M., seeing a dog that looked just like Wizard coming in and out of my bedroom. I got up several times to check on Wizard to see if he had broken out of his area, and he was sound asleep. Wizard had broken out of his area the two nights before so I was exhausted. He demanded to sleep with me and refused to go into his area. I let him sleep in bed with me, and I got no sleep.
Needless to say I was perplexed because I couldn’t understand why this doggie spirit, that looked and acted just like Wizard was walking through my bedroom. This doggie spirit kept me up for a couple of hours because every time I fell asleep I was awakened by the clicking of its nails on my bedroom floor. I did not know what to make of this spirit. It did not want to engage so I dismissed it. I chalked it up to another night of spirit visits.
Three days later I met John on the street without Arket. Arket followed John wherever the wind would take him. These were two vagabonds walking all over northern Bergen County. Once I saw them 15 miles from home walking aimlessly through the streets. I asked if they would like a ride back to Elmwood Park, and John said “no it is a beautiful day we will just walk home.”
Arket was one of wizard’s brothers from a litter of nine. He was an abused little boy for the first two years of his life. John rescued Arket from a woman in town who did not feed him. Arket’s abuse could be seen in his eyes and appearance He was noticeably smaller then Wizard. Every time Arket saw me he would run over and give me kisses and snuggle next to me and Wizard would let him.
John, with a tear in his eye, told me that Arket had died the Sunday before from complications of diabetes and lyme disease. My heart sunk into my stomach, and I started to cry. All I could think about was that night. It was Arket coming to tell me that he had passed over. I felt so bad that I did not engage him while he was walking in and out of my bedroom.
I have not felt his presence since that night but I have prayed for him every day. My “TAG TEAM” tells me that he needed to run around in my bedroom to let me know he made it into heaven. He is now with the ANGELS getting the love he so deserves.
Next time I will now pay more attention to spirit dogs running in and out of my bedroom in the middle of the night.
