Tonight the two brightest planets, Venus and Jupiter, will be so close to each other in the sky that they will appear like a single super bright star. Some astronomy lovers say it will resemble the biblical ‘Star of Bethlehem’. Sky &Telescope astronomy magazine suggested that this event will closely resemble the Star of Bethlehem which, according to Christian tradition, revealed the birth of Jesus to the Biblical Magi, and later led them to Bethlehem.
Such a celestial event, when two celestial bodies have either the same right ascension or the same ecliptic longitude, while observed from Earth, is called a conjunction. This can be best seen at dusk while you are looking towards the western hemisphere.
This is a great time to take advantage of positive synergy in your life. From an astrological perspective, this celestial event gives us a boost in energy which affords us new perspectives on love, family, money and spiritual endeavors.
Venus the planet of love and money has a happy interaction with Jupiter the planet of exploration of new ideas and spiritual awakening.
Get outside tonight and look into the night sky for these two planets shining brightly in the sky.
Today is Thankful Tuesday. I am thankful for a bright new planetary interaction lighting up the beautiful night sky.
